LRCC Will Host Bob Swindell for State of the County Address.
The Lauderhill Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) will host Broward Alliance’s Bob Swindell at its April Networking Breakfast which will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Woodlands Golf and Country Club, 4600 Woodlands Boulevard in the neighboring City of Tamarac. Bob Swindell CEO, Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, will deliver what is dubbed ‘The State of the County Address’ and will speak to entrepreneurs and business owners from the Central Broward region of Lauderhill, Tamarac, Plantation, Sunrise, Lauderdale Lakes and Fort Lauderdale.
He is South Florida’s leading expert in the industry on buying, selling and building in Broward County and will bring his affable personality to bear on hard facts and figures which many business owners and entrepreneurs will want to know.

In 2014 Broward County had the second largest year over year employment increase among all 31 metropolitan divisions in the USA according to the US Department of Labor.
From January (2014 – 2015) 28, 900 private sector jobs were added in Broward County.
The largest increases in employment were in Professional and Business Services (5000 jobs), Construction (4400 jobs), Retail Trade (4000 jobs) Education and Health Services (4000 jobs) and Leisure and Hospitality (3800 jobs)
Bob Swindell became President and CEO of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance in November 2009. He and his team assist local, national and international companies already doing business here or those prospective companies considering a move to the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.
The Alliance is Broward County’s official Public/Private economic development partnership and brings together the County’s business community and 31 municipalities for the purposes of accelerating economic and job growth. A lifelong Broward resident, he has served in several business and community leadership roles. Prior to his position with the Alliance, Bob was President of Champion Manufacturing for 18 years, a Pompano Beach and Florida based industrial supply company serving the South Eastern United States.
He serves on several professional and community executive boards including NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association), SFTA (South Florida Technical Alliance), American Red Cross, Work Force One, and Broward Education Foundation.
Mr Swindell was recently elected as 2014 incoming Chairman of FEDC (Florida Economic Development Council) and since October 2005 has served on the Florida Atlantic Research and Development Park Authority as an appointee of the Broward County Commission.
